Perfect Landings, 2025

This series takes its name from the paint color used for Ocean Calling, a portal for speaking to lost loved ones through the wind and the waves. In addition to acrylic, sand and saltwater on canvas, the works include drawings I made in the month after my grandmother died. She was the one who taught me how to paint, and I found a box full of photographs she used for inspiration.
