In August 2024, I took a final solo road trip in my trusty 2012 Prius, lovingly named “Lunchbox” (due to grizzly bears’ penchant for breaking into little cars when I crossed the country alone in 2014). The starting point was my home in the Ramaytush Ohlone homeland (San Francisco, CA) and the destination was an art residency in the S’Klallam homeland (Port Townsend, WA).

These photographs were shot with a Mamiya RB67 on Portra 400 film, and I choose not to crop or alter them digitally as a way of honoring the direct impression of the present moment. Sometimes, there are interesting imperfections in frame. Limited edition archival inkjet prints of these images are available for purchase - contact me for size options.
