During an art residency in the S’Klallam homeland now known as Port Townsend, WA, my home and studio were in Fort Worden State Park. As a ritual, I packed up my tripod and camera for sunrise and sunset hikes along the coast of the Salish Sea. These images resulted from those hikes.

Salish Sea 48.1392° N, 122.7694° W

These photographs are scans of Portra 400 film from a Mamiya RB67. I choose not to crop or alter them digitally to honor the direct mechanical impression of place. Limited edition archival inkjet prints of these images are available for purchase - contact me for size options.
